Is Laser Hair Removal safe?

Laser has been used to remove hair since 1960 but has improved vastly recently.  Laser hair removal is very safe but it can occasionally cause adverse effects such as discomfort and redness that last for a short time. It is not suitable for everyone, including pregnant women and those with certain skin types.  Cancer of the skin is not known to be a risk.

An average of 6-8 sessions is usually required to remove the hair.  It does permanently destroy the hair follicles but further top-up treatments may be required for new hair growth.
